To set up services in your 6Storage account, go to Settings >> Addon >> Fees/Services.
Note: There are three types of services Invoice based, Unit based, and One-time charge. To learn about each type of service, please read this article on Different types of Services in 6Storage before you learn to set up the services.
Enter the Storage Category, Location, and Service Name. Select the Service type from the drop-down. Service charge denotes how much you charge for the service and the Description field specifies the objective of the service.
While adding a One-time charge or Invoice based service, there are multiple checkboxes to consider before you save the action.
- 'Display in online Move-in' implies that the service will be displayed for all the units during a move-in.
- 'Default for Online Move-in' implies that the service will be automatically added to the unit during a move-in.
- 'Is Active' implies that the service will be active for all the units and adding the service will be optional. This checkbox is common for all three types of services.
Ensure that all the fields are filled with appropriate details. As you click on the Save button, the service will be added to your account.
You can add as many services as you want. To add another service, click Add Fees/Services and repeat the process.
To edit the details of an added service, click on the edit icon in the Actions column.
Enter the details in the required fields and click on Update to save the changes you have made.
You can also delete the added services if you no longer provide the service. For that, click on the trash icon in the Actions column.
As you click Yes in the pop-up for confirmation, the service will be permanently deleted from your 6Storage account.
